What are the responsibilities and job description for the Travel CNA position at Hospice of Western & Central Massachusetts?
We are hiring a full-time Travel CNA to provide high-quality patient care to patients with life-limiting illnesses. As a Travel CNA, you will perform various services, including bathing, feeding, and dressing, to promote comfort and well-being. You will also be responsible for observing patient conditions, reporting changes, and documenting care provided.
Must be willing to travel throughout Worcester and Hampden Counties. $22 to $24 an hour with weekly pay.
Responsibilities:
Perform personal care needs per plan of care, including bathing, feeding, and dressing
Provide patients and families with a positive communication chain and a friendly and professional environment
Meet the safety needs of patients using equipment safely and properly
Plan and prepare nutritious meals, including shopping, as assigned
Take and record oral, rectal, and auxiliary temperatures, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure when ordered
Provide proper care and observation of patient skin
Assess and report on patient condition and significant changes to the Case Manager
Assist in ambulation and exercise as instructed by the hospice nurse or therapist
Provide normal range of motion and transfers/positioning as directed
Requirements:
Must hold an active and unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant license in this state
Must have at least one year of experience as a CNA
Ability to travel and work in multiple locations throughout Worcester and Hampden Counties
