What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hospice Volunteer Coordinator position at Hospice of Western and Central Massachusetts?
Hospice of Western & Central Massachusetts is looking for a part-time Volunteer Coordinator!
Candidate must be willing to travel throughout the region. $25 to $28 an hour, with weekly pay, depending on experience. As the volunteer coordinator, you oversee the volunteer program, including recruiting, planning, and managing services. 24 hours a week.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
Prior experience in a health care setting preferred.
Must be willing to travel and have a valid driver's license and insured and reliable vehicle.
Ability to manage a group of individuals.
DUTIES:
Develop and maintain volunteer recruitment, training, orientation, and supervision.
Develop services with the patient and family, as well as the hospice team.
Determine areas to improve volunteer services.
Provides information to individuals and community groups about hospice volunteer services.
