Position Summary:
The President, in collaboration with the Everent Health (EHI) CEO, will act as the primary representative of Bluegrass Care Navigators (BCN). The President possesses comprehensive knowledge of all service lines and serves as an ambassador for all services offered by EHI and BCN. The President's responsibilities include overseeing daily hospice operations, managing finances (profit and loss), relationship management and primary contact/facilitator with the BCN Board, growth initiatives, ensuring quality, and maintaining staff engagement and retention within the market. The President will collaborate with the BCN Board to establish the strategic direction of the hospice and will develop the overall strategic plan for BCN with support and approval from EHI. Using the resources and support of EHI, the President will lead BCN in fulfilling its mission, vision, and strategic goals while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices. The President participates as an active member of the EHI leadership team, contributing to the mission, vision and strategic plan of EHI.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s Degree preferred. A combination of education, relevant and tenured work experience may be considered.
- Minimum experience of 8 to 10 years in healthcare leadership or Business/Financial management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed independent decisions and collaborate effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a team environment in support of organizational objectives.
- Experience leading a board of directors and/or participating on boards and governance committees.
- Health care experience preferred.
