- Position Summary**: The Facilities/Purchasing Supervisor is responsible for ordering, maintaining and distribution of all supplies and equipment for patients and staff. The

- To be considered for the position, prior experience in facility management and maintenance skills (such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) are required. Purchasing is only about 25% of the position.** ```{=html}

- EOE **Essential Functions of the Facilities/Purchasing Supervisor Position** Ability to oversee and coordinate building maintenance, repairs, and upkeep. Ensures facility is clean and maintained according to company policy and procedures. Manage and schedule routine inspections and maintenance tasks. Effectively troubleshoot problems related to mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems. Oversee and coordinate new construction projects. Effectively identify needs and cost for future repairs and upgrades. Able to identify environmental risk regarding facilities operations and maintenance. Ensures compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Select, coordinate, a d manage relationships with vendors and contractors. Negotiate contracts. Effectively monitors and reports on operational expenses. Demonstrates the ability to order and distribute office supplies and equipment in a timely manner. Effectively self-prioritizes, manages time efficiently and is able to multitask. Ability to process purchase orders and invoices in a timely manner. Knowledge of collection and disposal processes for filled sharp containers per OSHA guidelines. Effectively anticipates medical supply needs for timely delivery of adequate inventory at all locations. Ability to hire, train, supervise, and evaluate employees at multiple locations. Collaborate with leadership on planning and coordinating space allocations and utilization. Manage and coordinate renovations and upgrades. Knowledge of code compliance in each municipality in which facilities are located. Knowledge of safety processes and procedures.
