Hospice Aide CNA Position Summary and Details
- Position Summary: The Hospice Aide is responsible for providing direct patient care under the direction of the Clinical Services Manager or designee and the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Assures consistent, appropriate, and cost-effective care by actively assisting in managing the patient/family’s needs, company policy compliance, and HSI’s financial objectives.
- Pay: $20.28 Hourly. Full-Time Non-Exempt Position
- Schedule: 40 Hours Weekly, Monday-Friday 8:30 AM- 5:00 PM. May include a rotational Saturday shift that would typically average out to every 7th Saturday.
- Location: Would be based out of the Belleville, IL Patient Services office. We currently have the following position open: Southern Territory- Would primarily provide service to patients in the following Illinois counties: St. Clair, Randolph, Monroe, and Washington.
- We visit our patients wherever they may be located, whether it be in their homes, long-term care facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, etc. As a result, a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and reliable transportation are requirements of the position. The company reimburses .70 per mile for driving personal vehicles.
- Hospice of Southern Illinois is certified by the State of Illinois and is in compliance with the registration requirements of the Illinois Equal Pay Act.
