Join our dedicated Hospice team at Kaplan Family Hospice Residence (KFHR), where compassion and clinical excellence meet. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you’ll provide direct patient care and play a leadership role in ensuring comfort, dignity, and support for patients and their families during a critical time in their lives.

Schedule: Three (3) 12-hour day shifts per week, 7:00am - 7:30pm, which includes every other weekend rotation.
What You’ll Do

Deliver exceptional, compassionate care to hospice patients within our residence.

Supervise LPNs and Home Health Aides, ensuring quality care and optimal staffing.

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to manage symptoms and pain effectively.

Perform accurate assessments and develop individualized care plans.

Administer medications, maintain IV access devices, and operate clinical equipment.

Serve as a resource and leader for your shift, assisting staff with clinical and operational concerns.

Ensure documentation meets compliance standards and reflects accurate clinical care.

Coordinate care with physicians, facilities, and families while upholding the hospice philosophy.
What We’re Looking For

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; current NYS RN license required.

Minimum 2 years of medical/surgical experience preferred.

Hospice or palliative care certification a plus (but not required).

Strong clinical assessment skills, leadership ability, and a commitment to compassionate care.
