Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans accordingly.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and provide acute pain management as necessary.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive home community care and memory care services.
- Document patient information accurately using ICD-10 coding standards.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.
- Participate in the development of policies and procedures related to nursing practices in the operating room (OR) setting.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment for patients while adhering to infection control protocols.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards.
- Experience in urgent care, acute pain management, geriatrics, or hospice palliative medicine is preferred.
- Proficient in medication administration with a focus on safety and accuracy.
- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate patients effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating strong critical thinking skills.
