Position Available – Clothing Donation Associate
We are currently seeking quality applicants who can bring expertise in apparel, its history, and customer service, for a fast-paced resale store. Candidate must also have cashier experience and have a kind, caring and supportive approach to our open position. Workplace Specific Considerations and Responsibilities
- Receiving: Unloading, unpacking, and opening clothing donations
- Inspecting: Checking items for quality and consistency
- Sorting: Separating clothing into different grades or categories
- Assessing: Determine appropriate pricing of resale merchandise
- Processing: Scanning and sorting clothing
- Tagging: Attaching tags to clothing items
- Moving: Moving clothing to the sales floor
- Commitment to safety in the workplace
- A sensitive approach to receiving donations
- Respectful interactions in an inclusive workplace
- This position has lifting requirements that may vary from 10-100 pounds
- This position will require varying levels of mathematical competency
