Scheduling Coordinator
Full -Time
8am - 5pm
Weekends - Every 4th weekend
No holidays
Essential Functions
Collaborates with patients, family members, and staff to ensure the hospice aide schedule meets patients needs as determined by staff
Develop and maintain daily, weekly, or project-based schedules for interdisciplinary team
Coordinate appointments, meetings, and work shifts to avoid conflicts and ensure optimal efficiency
Communicate schedule updates and changes promptly to all relevant parties.
Work with the team, managers, or supervisors to assess staffing needs and adjust schedules accordingly.
Use scheduling software or tools to track availability, time off, and assignments.
Monitor schedule adherence and report any discrepancies or issues.
Assist with ordering and putting away supplies
Maintain accurate records of scheduling activities and documentation
Qualifications
High school diploma required.
2-3 years of experience in staff development or training required
Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service, work collaboratively across departments, communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing), manage multiple priorities with strong organizational skills, and engage in crucial conversations with professionalism and tact.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with scheduling systems and other digital tools preferred.
