Shift: 1st - 6:00am - 2:30pm PST
Responsibilities
- Weigh, measure, and combine raw materials according to batch records and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Operate mixing and blending equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor compounding processes, adjusting settings as needed to ensure consistency and quality.
- Perform in-process quality checks, including pH, viscosity, and appearance testing.
- Accurately complete production and batch documentation to ensure traceability.
- Maintain cleanliness of compounding rooms, equipment, and utensils in compliance with GMP and safety standards.
- Assist in equipment changeovers, cleaning, and setup to minimize downtime.
- Report deviations, equipment malfunctions, or material discrepancies to supervisors immediately.
- Follow all company safety protocols, including the proper handling of chemicals and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with quality, production, and warehouse teams to support production goals.
- High school diploma or GED required; additional technical training in manufacturing or chemistry preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in compounding, mixing, or manufacturing operations (chemical, pharmaceutical, food, or related industry).
- Knowledge of GMP, safety standards, and handling of raw materials/chemicals.
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow formulas, batch records, and SOPs.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Basic math and measurement skills required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods in a production environment.
