Responsible for the assembling of structural glass and metal products using machines, tools and hands.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accurately interprets assembly instructions, measurements and sketches.
- Determines if all required parts are in stock.
- Fabricates and assembles metal products accurately.
- Removes inventory from system as used to ensure that inventory is current at all times.
- Ensure the working environment is clean and safe.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to read a tape measure and identify written measurements.
- Operates machinery including saws, drills and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail skills and ability to follow directions.
- Strong team player.
Physical Demands: Must be able to lift glass up to 70lbs, stand, walk, and bend
Work Environment: Warehouse setting.
Required Education: High school diploma or G.E.D.
Required Experience: None. Warehouse and/or construction background a plus.
Salary : $18 - $20
