What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operational FP&A position at HOSKIN & MUIR INC?
The Operational FP&A partners with the operations teams to drive financial planning, cost analysis, reporting, and performance analysis. This role focuses on linking financial data to operational drivers, supporting decision-making, improving efficiency, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Shall adhere to all safety, health and environmental procedures, policies, and practices, and ensure that all equipment is in safe operating condition and meets or exceeds OSHA Standards.
- Comply with all QMS / EMS procedures and work instructions as it pertains to the description of the position.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Prepare, review, and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly operational financial reports.
- Prepare quarterly forecasts and annual budget models. Work with Operations to understand KPI’s and agree on assumptions.
- Prepare operational balance sheet reconciliations as scheduled.
- Prepare analysis of Operational initiatives for cost saving benefits and impacts to the organization.
- Identify and Drive opportunities for cost optimization.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance ad-hoc reports and financial models as needed. Support Operations to implement/maintain standardization of processes that impact cost drivers.
- Maintain/Oversee inventory transactions between FV and Sage, ensure accurate costing and support inventory reduction initiatives.
- Performs all other functions as required; included are any work assignments relating to the efficient flow of work within HMI Glass.
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
- Accounting/GAAP knowledge
- Advanced/expert knowledge of Microsoft Office with a heavy emphasis on Excel (creation and use of complex formulas and functions, pivot table creation, and maintenance, etc.)
- Detail oriented, highly organized, and analytically inclined.
- Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Note: Possession of a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required for all new hires in all positions.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance preferred or equivalent job experience.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
