Director of Operations and Supply Chain

Director of Operations and Supply Chain is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the manufacturing operations, purchasing and supply chain functions within the organization. Here are the key duties, responsibilities, and qualifications associated with this role:

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.

· Translates business strategies into operational plans, considering business priorities.

· Responsible for managing the annual planning process (AOP) and budgets for operations and supply chain.

· Responsible for the P&L of manufacturing and supply chain

· Responsible for leading the companies SIOP process.

· Leads the companies Continuous Improvement program.

· Manages all inbound and outbound product logistics.

· Leads supplier selection & negotiation activities.

· Responsible for overseeing the company’s quality program and compliance to industry standards.

· Recommends CapEx needs.

· Oversees the company’s maintenance and preventative maintenance programs.

· Motivating the team to achieve objectives and targets.

· Organizing training programs to enhance job skills and knowledge.

· Builds and maintains effective working relationships with various levels in the organization.

Qualifications:

· Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or Finance degree required.

· MBA preferred.

· Strong, demonstrated, hands on working knowledge of Lean manufacturing.

· Strong understating of ERP/MRP systems
