Mobile Service Technician

Hose & Rubber Supply is a regional company in the Rocky Mountain West with six store locations over five states. We strive to identify and satisfy our customers' needs with our extensive hose and fitting knowledge, large hydraulic and industrial hose and fittings inventory, and hydraulic CNC tube bender. We pride ourselves on problem solving for our wide variety of customers, whether in the oilfield, construction, medical, manufacturing, military, or government.

As a Mobile Service Technician, you would be responsible for providing on-site mobile customer service to our customers in the Denver, CO area. This is a full-time position with benefits.

The Mobile Service Technician duties include, but are not limited to:

• Travel to customers’ locations and work to identify and satisfy the customer’s need in a profitable and timely manner.
• On-site diagnose, replace, assemble, and install hydraulic and industrial hoses per customer requirements.
• Write up quotes and orders in the system.
• Maintain the mobile service vehicle and trailer, ensuring that tools, hoses, fittings, and parts are well-organized and at appropriate inventory levels.
• Work with Field Sales Representatives to generate more business by providing referrals.
  
  
  

Basic Requirements:

• Must be 21 years or older with a valid driver license with a good driving record
• Written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on product knowledge
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Customer service skills
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs at a time
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Attention to detail

Level of Education and Work Experience:

• General education degree (GED), H.S. diploma, associate's, or bachelor's degree
• Prior mechanic and/or industry experience
• Understanding of Hose and Rubber's product portfolio and their application preferred
  
  
  

Compensation:

• Hourly Commission: $24.60 - $37.00 per hour (base of $24.60 per hour, plus monthly commission and quarterly profit sharing)
• Schedule: 40 hours a week; Monday to Friday with scheduled Saturday morning rotation (8 am - noon)
