Duties
- Conduct thorough quality inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems
- Utilize advanced quality management software to document inspection results, data collection, and non-conformance reports
- Perform regular calibration and maintenance checks on measurement tools like coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to ensure accuracy
- Execute quality audits in accordance with ISO 9001, and other relevant standards
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify root causes of defects and implement corrective actions aligned with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP protocols
- Support the development and review of quality systems documentation, including work instructions and inspection procedures
- Participate in internal and supplier quality audits to verify compliance with ISO 9001, and other applicable standards
Qualifications
- Based on our government contracts, US Citizenship is Required.
- Proven experience in quality control or quality inspection within a manufacturing environment
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and measurement data
- Hands-on experience operating precision measuring instruments including calipers, and micrometers
- Excellent attention to detail coupled with strong problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills for reporting findings clearly and collaborating across teams
- Soldering experience helpful
