The Splicer will perform manual labor tasks in support of assigned area. Required to cross train across company departments based on business needs.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up machine according to pre-defined parameters
- Cut out non-conforming sections of Hose
- Trim and prep each hose end
- Weld 2 sections of hose together
- Perform visual quality inspection of welded area
- Perform required leak test
- Coil hose onto reel
- Meet production rates
- Handle other essential tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to understand and follow English instructions
- Good basic math skills
- Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to bend, squat, twist and kneel
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
