Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to meet established cleanliness standards.
- Dust, vacuum, and mop floors; clean windows, mirrors, and surfaces; and sanitize bathrooms.
- Change bed linens and towels regularly, ensuring fresh supplies are available for guests.
- Restock cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
- Follow established procedures for handling chemicals and cleaning equipment safely.
- Assist with laundry services as needed, ensuring all linens are cleaned and folded properly.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments when necessary.
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.
Skills
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and floor care practices is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with custodial practices and housekeeping management principles is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
