Horwitz, Horwitz, and Associates is a progressive family-owned law firm, located in Chicago's loop, who has represented Illinois' injured for over three generations. We are passionate about seeking justice for those who have been injured and who may have been previously denied representation. We are seeking to fill the role of Intake Specialist with our Firm.
About the Role:
The Intake Specialist is empathetic, enthusiastic, and has an ownership mindset. The person in this role drives new business and demonstrates the firm's objective to deliver the highest level of customer service. The Intake Specialist answers and returns a high volume of calls from prospective clients seeking legal representation from HHA, discusses the details of the callers' incident and injuries, and thoroughly documents the information provided by the caller.
The ideal candidate is patient and able to effectively manage conflicting priorities, while understanding the needs of the prospective client. Duties and Responsibilities: include the following, but are not limited to:
- Manage a high call volume while providing an outstanding client experience
- Connect with prospective clients by actively listening and asking the right questions to understand the callers' incident and injuries
- Thoroughly and compassionately gather the pertinent information required for the case evaluation
- Proactively communicate with potential clients through consistent follow up calls to ensure that all necessary information is obtained to properly evaluate the case
- Initiate, build and maintain thorough client files in the database as a part of the client onboarding experience
- Engage with potential clients via Live Chat inquiries
- Demonstrate the ability to effectively and thoroughly complete multiple tasks simultaneously
- Exhibit strong time management by prioritizing competing tasks
- Effectively communicate, verbally and written, with prospective clients, the attorneys evaluating the potential case, and internal team members
- Collaborate with the marketing team to track incoming leads
- Other duties as assigned by Leadership
Success Factors /Qualifications:
- Preferred experience: 1 year minimum of law firm experience
- Able to work both independently and contribute to a positive team environment
- Self- motivated and goal driven
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Effective written and verbal communications skills
- Efficient with time management and deadline conscious
- Superior attention to detail and a high level of organization skills
- Proactive and a desire to help others
- Commitment to providing outstanding customer service to both internally and externally
- Ability to read, write, and converse in Spanish is highly preferred
Salary & Benefits:
- Compensation starts at $45,000 annually and depends on experience
