Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and waste disposal
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and resetting dining areas efficiently
- Handle manual lifting and heavy lifting tasks safely to move supplies, ingredients, and equipment
- Serve food to guests accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring order correctness
- Provide excellent in-person customer service by attending to guest needs with professionalism and friendliness
- Follow food safety protocols diligently during food handling and preparation processes
- Support banquet events or special functions by assisting with setup, serving, and cleanup as needed
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation practices
- Ability to perform manual tasks including heavy lifting with safe lifting practices
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards guest services
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, food preparation, bussing, cleaning, and general restaurant procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
