Warehouse Associate Second Shift

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our family oriented and rapidly growing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring that products are accurately picked, packed, and shipped. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes and the ability to operate various equipment safely and effectively. Second shift hours would be 2pm to 10:30 pm. Monday thru Friday.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently pick and pack orders then loading into delivery trucks.
• Load and unload products from trucks ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks in compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Assist in shipping and receiving tasks, verifying accuracy of shipments against packing lists.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
• Perform heavy lifting as required, moving materials throughout the warehouse.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and other team members to ensure smooth operations and address any issues that arise.
• Other duties may be assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred; but will train qualified individual.
• Familiarity with order picking processes and materials handling techniques.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operation including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Understanding of shipping & receiving protocols within a warehouse setting.
• Capability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift.
• Basic computer skills.
