Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Revit Drafter based in Los Angeles, CA. The Revit Drafter will be responsible for creating detailed 2D and 3D models, preparing technical drawings and documentation, and collaborating with architects and engineers to ensure designs meet project specifications. Daily activities will include updating and maintaining Revit project files, creating and refining templates, adhering to design standards, and providing support for project coordination and planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate 2D and 3D construction documents in Revit
- Prepare plans, elevations, sections, and architectural details
- Maintain drawing sets, updates, revisions, and document control
- Collaborate with architects, project managers, and construction teams
- Support the development of BIM models throughout project phases
- Coordinate drawings and markups from design and field teams
- Assist with permitting sets, technical detailing, and plotting
- Optional: support 3D visualization, renderings, and presentations
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of drafting experience using Revit in a professional setting
- Strong understanding of architectural documentation and construction workflow
- Ability to create complete drawing sets with high accuracy
- Working knowledge of commercial or industrial building types is a plus
- Experience with industrial, aerospace, or defense projects is a bonus
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is helpful, but not required
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to support multiple projects
- Must live within 30 minutes of our Manhattan Beach, CA office
- Full right to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available at this time)
Preferred Experience
- 3D modeling and renderings
- Experience with design-build firms or construction teams
- Familiarity with construction sequencing or industrial facility layouts
- Experience creating as-builts or field-verified drawings
