Job Overview
Horton Electrical Services LLC is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead and manage commercial, industrial, and water/wastewater projects from pre-construction through closeout. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining a high standard of quality and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of electrical projects including scheduling, procurement, and field execution.
- Manage project budgets, cost tracking, and labor productivity.
- Coordinate and communicate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
- Review contract documents, drawings, and specifications to identify scope, changes, and constructability issues.
- Prepare and process RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress billings.
- Conduct regular project meetings and site visits to monitor progress and ensure safety and quality compliance.
- Project planning, scheduling, and coordination of manpower and materials.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to project foremen and field teams.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and all project-specific safety and quality requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience managing electrical construction projects in commercial, industrial, or water/wastewater environments.
- Understanding of electrical systems including Fire Alarm, Voice Data, security, access control, instrumentation and controls.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Valid Driver's License and willingness to travel to projects within Connecticut as needed.
- Strong organizations skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Solid computer knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Adobe.
- Ability to read drawings and specifications
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
