Make a difference as a Construction Project Manager

What matters most

To excel as a Full-Time Construction Project Manager at Horst Construction, you will need a robust set of skills and qualifications. A bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field, or equivalent experience, is essential, along with a minimum of 3 years of construction experience, including at least 2 years in commercial project management. Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam, and MS Project will be crucial for streamlining project workflows.

Additionally, a strong understanding of blueprints and contract documents, along with knowledge of relevant building codes and construction trades is necessary to ensure compliance and quality. Effective budget and schedule management, along with a commitment to quality control, is vital in achieving project objectives. Lastly, strong verbal and written communication skills, leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment are key to your success in this role, with a willingness to travel for select out-of-state projects.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
