Job Summary:
As a Manual Machinist, you will setup and operate equipment such as Thread rolling machines, and various other pieces of manual equipment. You will produce highly engineered precision parts and inspect your work. This is an entry-level position and training will be provided. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, manual dexterity, and an eye for detail. You should have a knowledge of mechanics and safe work practices.
Responsibilities:
- Learn setup and operation of the manual machines
- Troubleshoot issues
- Perform accurate inspections and produce quality parts
- Utilize lean manufacturing practices
Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older
- Mechanically inclined, high level of dexterity. Comfortable working with small parts
- Have a sense of urgency and high attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
- Can thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
1st Shift position is from 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
