Activities Director
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Day shift | Some evenings/weekends | Occasional holidays
About the Role:
We’re looking for an energetic and creative Activities Director to join our team at Horsham Center for Jewish Life! In this role, you’ll design and lead fun, meaningful programs that help residents stay active, engaged, and connected.

What You’ll Do:
Plan and lead daily group and individual activities
Organize special events, outings, and holiday celebrations
Customize activity plans to meet residents' interests and abilities
Complete assessments and care plans for new and current residents
Keep accurate records and stay in compliance with state and federal guidelines
Oversee and support the activities team and volunteers
Work closely with other departments to enhance residents’ quality of life
What We’re Looking For:
High school diploma or GED required
At least 1–2 years of experience in long-term care or a related setting
Activity Director Certification or willingness to obtain (must meet PA state requirements)
Organized, enthusiastic, and comfortable leading groups
Strong communication and time management skills
Flexible schedule availability (some evenings and weekends)
Basic computer skills and ability to complete documentation
