HBH is seeking a part-time Document Production Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for producing high-quality documents according to set deadlines while using processing and reporting systems efficiently. The position supports the Firm’s word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and document-conversion needs.
Schedule: Part-time, average 15-20 hours per week.
Work arrangement: Primarily remote, with in-office presence requested as needed.
Hourly rate range: $20 - $28 per hour commensurate with experience and skills.
Position Summary:
- Ability to work as part of a team to meet the document production needs of the Firm.
- Assists in the document production needs for the Firm; types, revises and corrects all types of complex documents using word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation functions.
- Understands and uses Microsoft Office software programs and related functionalities to support the Firm’s document production needs.
- Receives submitted documents and confirms that all necessary information is available to process the work.
- Works one-on-one with HBH staff as needed for special projects that require specific instruction.
- Handles administrative assignments providing direct administrative support to the Firm’s staff as needed.
- Proofread materials to ensure they meet the Firm’s strict style guidelines and professional standards.
- Organizes and prioritizes numerous tasks and completes them under time constraints.
- Communicates and follows instructions effectively.
- Delivers completed work to the appropriate author or requester, as requested.
- Assists in any other area of the Firm, as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Three or more years of experience preparing, editing, and refining presentations, reports, and other materials with a high degree of accuracy and polish.
- Excellent typing skills (65 wpm), spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Advanced proficiency with integrated Microsoft Excel and Word functionality, including data linking and embedded worksheets.
- Proven ability to manage confidential and sensitive financial, business, and organizational information with discretion, sound judgment, and professionalism.
- Strong business judgment and the ability to manage competing priorities, shifting deadlines, and urgent requests with accuracy, composure, and follow-through.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the presence and professionalism to interact effectively with the Firm’s senior leaders and accounting staff.
