Overview: The Product Development Manager role is responsible for
formulating new products, completing commercialization tasks, product
maintenance, product cost evaluation, product improvements, and overall
management of product development projects and integration of the
products into production. This is accomplished by leveraging good
project management skills and creating good cross-functional
relationships. Develop into a technical expert by developing new product
formulations and improvements that fulfill nutritional, regulatory,
operational, and consumer/customer requirements and expectations. Common
tasks include planning, execution, trend research, documentation of
specifications, evaluation of new products, process improvement, project
management and supervision, and cost savings opportunities.

customer-focused R&D initiatives. Fulfill sample requests for internal
and external partners. Design, plan, prepare, and evaluate new and
current product formulations. Manage multiple R&D projects. Develop
