Overview
Horseshoe Bay Resort is seeking a Gardener to support the maintenance and enhancement of landscaped areas across the property. This role focuses on maintaining plant health, landscape appearance, and supporting installation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate landscaping equipment including mowers, trimmers, edgers, chainsaws, and blowers
- Perform routine landscape maintenance such as mowing, edging, weeding, and planting
- Install and maintain plant materials, mulch, and seasonal displays
- Assist with landscape projects including soil preparation, sod installation, and basic construction tasks
- Support irrigation and drainage repairs, including trenching and backfilling
- Inspect, clean, and maintain equipment; report mechanical issues promptly
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Minimum of 1 year of commercial landscaping experience (not residential only)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record required
- Working knowledge of landscaping tools, equipment, and materials
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively on a team
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
- Flexibility to work weekends and variable schedules as needed
