Position Overview: The Community Engagement Partner plays a key role in cultivating relationships with participants and community stakeholders, fostering engagement and growth for Horses Help. This position is responsible for maintaining a comprehensive program calendar, master schedule and unified data collection to support our initiatives.
The Community Engagement Partner is the first contact that participants have with HH, coordinating the intake and placement process. They act as a liaison between participants, their parents or caregivers, to welcome and onboard new families. Ensures an outstanding experience for participants and their families while at HH.
Responsibilities
Programs
- Participant & Community Engagement
- Cultivate meaningful relationships with program participants, families, volunteers, and community stakeholders.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for participant inquiries and engagement.
- Represent Horses Help at community events and outreach opportunities to promote program visibility and growth.
- Program Planning & Scheduling
- Maintain a comprehensive program calendar coordinating with the team, including therapeutic sessions, volunteer shifts, and special events.
- Intake & Data Management
- Support the HH Leadership to implement and maintain a standardized intake process for all program participants.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of participant demographics, attendance, and progress.
- Oversee unified data collection systems to support grant applications, program evaluation, and reporting.
- Program Evaluation & Reporting
- Support HH Leadership to develop processes that will enable reporting on key performance indicators and outcomes for programs.
- Analyze program data to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare monthly reports for Operations Director.
- Team Collaboration
- Work closely with instructors, volunteers, and staff to ensure smooth program delivery.
- Support training and onboarding of new program staff and volunteers.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to align programming with organizational initiatives.
Administration
- Responsible for billing participants and working with accounting
- Collaborate with the leadership team to, track participant outcomes, and support strategic development initiatives through data-driven reporting and analysis.
Commitments

- Maintains PATH International Accreditations Standards in everything we do.
- Work with Operations Director to plan program expansion in appropriate disciplines.
- Develop community support through public speaking, tours, meetings and community events.
- Participate in special events of the center as required.
Qualifications
- Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Communication Disorders, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Recreation Management, or a related field is preferred. A combination of related job experience and other certifications could be permissible
Minimum of two years’ experience working with people with disabilities, preferably in PATH Intl. Accredited Center. Demonstrated success in working with children/adults with a range of developmental and/or mental health disabilities.
Maintaining First Aid & CPR Certifications.

Working Conditions
- Must be comfortable working in an equine environment with exposure to outdoor elements.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks related to horse care and barn duties.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
