What are the responsibilities and job description for the Box Truck Driver & Mover Helper (Non-CDL) position at Horsepower Moving & Storage?
Horsepower Moving & Storage is hiring a Box Truck Driver & Mover Helper. Veterans and transitioning service members are encouraged to apply.
You do not need moving experience. If you can drive a box truck safely and you show up on time, we will train you on the rest.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (no points, required)
- DOT medical exam complete and active (required)
- Experience driving box trucks or commercial vehicles (required)
- Clean background check (required)
- Military experience strongly preferred
- On time 100% of the time: integrity and reliability are non-negotiable
- Ability to lift 75 to 100 lbs repeatedly
- No moving experience required!
Responsibilities
- Drive and operate a box truck safely to and from job sites
- Load and unload furniture and household goods with care under the direction of a crew chief
- Protect customer homes and belongings using pads, wrap, and proper technique
- Help the crew keep the job moving efficiently
- Represent the Horsepower brand with professionalism
