We are currently seeking a class A Auto Technician to become an integral part of our team! You will diagnose, adjust, repair, and overhaul automotive vehicles. We are looking for a very strong candidate to be a part of our fast-growing small business.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair automotive vehicles
- Perform routine vehicle tune-ups and maintenance
- Provide labor and time estimates for automotive repairs
- Inspect and test new vehicles for necessary adjustments
Qualifications:
- Must be a very strong candidate with 5 years of mechanical experience.
- Must have a valid driver license.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail·
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with customers.
- Proven experience as auto mechanic.
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles.
- Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods.
- Experience with Hunter Alignment machine, tire balancer and other equipment.
- Experience with A/C equipment.
- Comfortable driving various types of vehicles.
- Requirements but not limited to:
- Having your own mechanical tools.
- ASE certification.
- State inspection license certification or ability to obtain one.
- DOT card preferred or willingness to obtain one.
- Towing and detailing experience might have further opportunities.
