About the Position
The Bar Prep is responsible for preparing juices, syrups, garnishes, and other specialty items for the cocktail program, while ensuring the bar is fully stocked and organized before each service. This role is ideal for someone looking to deepen their understanding of bar operations and learn more about cocktail execution in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and batch cocktail ingredients according to recipes and standards.
- Stock and organize the bar area with backup spirits, mixers, ice, and garnishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of bar prep stations and tools.
- Receive, label, and properly store bar-related deliveries.
- Assist bartenders with opening duties as needed.
- Follow all safety and food handling guidelines.
- Communicate with the bar team about inventory needs and product usage.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and stand for extended periods of time

Minimum Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a prep or barback role preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- California Food Handler’s Card required.
- Availability for morning and early afternoon shifts, including weekends.
