What are the responsibilities and job description for the Planning - Assistant Impact Fee Coordinator position at Horry County Government?
Duties for this Position
- Assists in administrating Horry County's impact fee program. Work includes calculating and assessing fees on permits, responding to inquiries about impact fees.
- Requires extensive customer contact determining the applicability of the fee and providing quotes for future projects.
- Assists in periodic evaluation, revision and implementation of impact fees.
- Additional duties may include monitoring project specific financial guarantees, processing Letters of Credit and Cash Bonds, assisting in the review of commercial and residential development plans, and coordination within the County.
- Additional duties as may be assigned.
Additional Information
- High School diploma or GED; Two (2) years of work experience directly related in impact fee administration, land development, or construction; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge, and ability.
- Must be computer literate and have the ability to utilize Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Candidates must be able to pass required pre-employment physical and background check.
