As a Human Resource Generalist, you will own all aspects of onboarding, employee changes impacting any part of the employee lifecycle, and other human resource matters.
What are the core responsibilities for the role?
- Responsible for new hire onboarding process and ensure completion of all required documentation and system accuracy
- Conduct new hire orientation and ensure a smooth onboarding process
- Employment verifications
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data in HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and systems.
- Fulfill administrative updates to employee records as requested by supervisors
- Assist the Finance team with payroll data related to HR needs
- Assist supervisors with all employee lifecycle changes, including promotions, internal transfers, organizational restructures, and other status update
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business, Accounting, or a related field required
- 1-3 years of HR-related experience
- Professional Certifications SHRM-CP / HRCI-PHR or SHRM-SCP / HRCI-SPHR preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills
- Excellent time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Thorough understanding of laws, regulations, and guidelines related to HR
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Prior experience utilizing an HRIS (Human Resources Information System), demonstrating a strong working knowledge of its functionalities and applications
