🚨 Senior Accounting Manager - URGENT HIRE

📍 Work Location: Chesterton, IN (Hybrid – Fridays Remote)
A national freight & transportation company is seeking a sharp, hands-on Senior Accounting Manager for an urgent interim opportunity.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead month-end close (immediate focus on April close)
- Own heavy balance sheet reconciliations & reporting
- Deliver financial reporting by location & customer
- Analyze financials and support business decisions
- Maintain clean, accurate, forward-looking accounting processes
Must-Have Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (REQUIRED)
- Advanced Excel skills (MUST HAVE) – pivot tables, VLOOKUPs (used daily)
- Strong experience with balance sheet reconciliations & heavy reporting
- Proven ability to work independently and hit the ground running
- Must be detail-oriented, sharp, and proactive
