Office Assistant and Operations Coordinator:
$17-18.00 per hour plus Benefits
Monday to Friday 8am to 5:00pm -onsite
National Transportation and Logistics firm hiring a new team member in the Vandalia Illinois area.
The position of Customer Service Representative will have primary responsibility to provide high-level support by assisting customers, both internal and external, and providing accurate data entered in all necessary systems.
Must Haves:
2 plus years of Administrative and Customer/Vendor support in a fast paced environment
Strong Typing/Data entry skills with 10Key
Microsoft Outlook and Excel proficient a must
Transportation/Freight/Logistics experience a plus!
- Monitor customer emails
- Answer and transfer phone calls to the appropriate department
- Assist customers with freight updates
- Reporting for customers
- Confirming destination and bill-to information
- Documentation reporting for all customers (DO/BL)
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
· Manage heavy call and email volume in a professional and timely manner
· Administer elevated service programs including customer reporting and communication processes for specific customers
· Assists internal and external customers with information or document requests
· Partners with the sales team to meet and exceed customer service expectations
· Assists in maintaining and monitoring electronic data for customers
· Operates inventory control, word processing, and spreadsheet applications for customers
· Generates correspondence to secure additional customer information to resolve customer disputes
