Job Summary
Provides direction for the program and classroom and implements program curriculum. Provides a quality experience to children and parents that focuses on the YMCA values: honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Plans and implements activities, supervises children, maintains a safe classroom, communicates with families, completes required records, follows licensing regulations, attends staff training, and performs other duties as assigned. Must be flexible to work at different sites as needed.
Key Qualifications & Skills
Must meet OCFS education and experience requirements, be at least 16 years old, complete required CPR, First Aid, AED, and Child Abuse Prevention training, and have experience working with children preferred. Must be able to plan age-appropriate activities and build positive relationships with children and families.
Licenses or Certifications
Driver's License required
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 15.0 per week
