Job Overview
An Auto Dealership Cleaner/Detailer keeps the entire facility spotless, focusing on showrooms, offices, restrooms, and service areas, plus meticulously cleaning the interior and exterior of vehicles (washing, waxing, vacuuming, polishing) to ensure a pristine look for customers, often working before/after hours to prepare new and serviced cars and maintain high standards for sales and service. Key Responsibilities
- Facility Cleaning: Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors; dusting surfaces; cleaning windows/glass; sanitizing restrooms and customer lounges; emptying trash.
- Vehicle Detailing: Washing, waxing, polishing exteriors; vacuuming, shampooing carpets/upholstery, cleaning dashboards/consoles; applying protective treatments.
- Vehicle Preparation: Preparing new arrivals for the showroom and cleaning cars after service/repairs.
- Equipment Use: Operating floor scrubbers, carpet cleaners, pressure washers.
- Inventory: Keeping track of and restocking cleaning supplies.
Work Environment
- Often performed during low-traffic times (early morning, evening).
- May involve physical labor and being on your feet for extended periods.
- Requires attention to detail and coordination with sales/service teams.
Skills & Qualifications
