WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Diagnose and repair automotive mechanical and electrical concerns
- Perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs accurately and efficiently
- Diagnose drivability issues and complex mechanical or electrical problems
- Complete repair orders while maintaining quality and efficiency standards
- Work closely with Service Advisors and other technicians to maintain workflow
- Follow Kia repair procedures, technical guidelines, and safety standards
- Stay current with evolving automotive technology and manufacturer training
- Service hybrid and electric vehicle systems as qualified
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required Qualifications:
- Professional automotive technician experience
- Mainline mechanical repair and diagnostic experience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume dealership environment
- Valid driver's license
- Dependable, professional, and team-oriented attitude
Highly Preferred:
- Kia Master Technician certification
- Kia manufacturer training and certifications
- Kia or Hyundai dealership experience
- ASE certifications
- Strong diagnostic and electrical repair capabilities
- Experience working in a flat-rate environment
- Proven productivity and quality workmanship
