Role Description
This is a full-time, traveling role for a Field Service Technician located PA preferably. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and rebuilding a variety of industrial machines, including CNCs, lathes, mills, and other specialized equipment. Daily tasks will involve troubleshooting issues, calibrating machinery, performing preventative maintenance, and providing technical support to clients. The role also requires documentation of service activities and ensuring machines operate in accordance with safety standards and client specifications.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing CNC machines, lathes, mills, and other industrial equipment
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Experience with troubleshooting and preventative maintenance practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload on-site
- Physical capability to handle demands of repairing heavy equipment
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required
- Experience in the industrial or manufacturing sector is a plus
- Technical certification or associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering is preferred
