What are the responsibilities and job description for the MATERIAL HANDLER - Alda facility - day shift position at Hornady?
Essential Functions:
- Practice safe work habits while operating powered industrial trucks and other lift assist devices.
- Transport product to designated areas.
- Unload and stack materials with and without lifting devices.
- Conduct inventory on work floor and supply operators with raw and finished products as needed.
- Weigh materials and record weight on tags, labels or production schedules.
- Daily maintenance on industrial trucks (i.e. lubricate truck, recharge batteries, fill fuel tank).
- Effectively communicate with operators and supervisors.
- Basic math skills required.
