Maintenance Tech - Night Shift

Immediate opening for a

• MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN*on the night shift at Hornady Manufacturing, Grand Island location. Maintenance Technicians provide production and facility maintenance support.
  
  

Essential Functions

• Practices safe work habits while performing maintenance duties (i.e. proficient with lockout tagout protocol)
• Repairs and maintains precision machinery and equipment
• Performs preventive maintenance on company equipment (hydraulic/pneumatic)
• Repairs electrical equipment and performs basic wiring
• Installs and adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments
• Cleans, repairs or replaces defective parts
• Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
• Assist in moving large and small equipment
  
  

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of technical maintenance experience, possess a high level of mechanical aptitude (hydraulic / pneumatic), attention to detail, and have the ability to work an average of 50 hours/week. Heavy lifting required. Forklift and scissor lift experience preferred.
