Only applicants who demonstrate a commitment to pursuing a serious career opportunity will be considered for this position.Responsibilities:Verify insurance coverage and benefits for new and established patientsObtain insurance authorizations for medical services, tests and proceduresMust have working experience with all payer types; commercial, governmental, Medicare replacement plans, Medicaid, Humana, Aetna, United Healthcare, etc...Update records with accurate patient copayments and insurance informationInform relevant clinical staff of insurance denialsAnswer patient questions related to billing and insuranceSchedule patient appointmentCollaborate with management and staff to devise workflow and system efficienciesSkills & Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 2 years experience in a medical office settingPrior work experience with health insurance benefitsExperience working with multiple payer types (commercial, governmental, Medicare replacement plans, Humana, Aetna, United Healthcare, etc.)Proficiency in relevant software and electronic health record systemsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesDemonstrated commitment to professionalism and ethical conductJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:Employee discountHealth savings accountPaid time offCompany DescriptionHormonify is a leading hormone replacement therapy and wellness center dedicated to helping patients achieve optimal health through bioidentical hormone therapy, personalized treatment plans, and comprehensive wellness services.
