What are the responsibilities and job description for the FSQ Auditor II First Shift position at Hormel Foods?
The Alma plant has an openings for FSQ Auditor with opportunities for overtime. Successful candidates will work in our food processing production facility located in Alma, KS, and enjoy competitive wages ($21.50/hr) along with a comprehensive benefits package. Work hours will be on 1st shift (5:30AM 2:30PM). Weekend work as required.
Position will complete daily weight/product checks, label verifications, scale calibrations, oven/chiller calibrations, and other activities or job duties as assigned by the FSQ Auditor Lead or FSQ Manager. Following proper procedures, attention to detail, and accuracy of paperwork are extremely important in this position. Excellent communication skills are necessary. All while making people safety and food safety the number one priority.
Preference will be given for relevant food manufacturing experience.
Job Responsibilities:
Follow all company rules for food safety and employee safety.
The ability to read and write to accurately complete job related paperwork.
The ability to perform repetitive hand & wrist motion throughout a shift.
The ability to lift/push/pull 50 lbs as required throughout the course of a shift.
The ability to twist and bend the body as necessary to perform job related tasks.
The ability to kneel/squat/climb as necessary to complete job related tasks.
The ability to perform grasping & pinching motions to complete job related tasks.
Working Conditions:
Refrigerated environment - temperatures average 35-40 degrees Fahrenheit.
