Job Description
Employees with less than eighteen (18) months in their current position are required to gain approval from their current business unit vice president or plant manager to be considered a qualified candidate. This approval should be attached documents below.

Job Responsibilities
1. Supervise a work group to assure production of products/services meets daily production schedules.
2. Ensure company safety policy is followed.
3. Ensure proper sanitation procedures are followed and that all employees follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
4. Ensure communication of objectives, programs, policies and that team members are familiar with their authority, responsibilities, and objectives.
5. Ensure achievement of objectives relating to personnel management, personnel safety, product quality, productivity, yield, and scheduling.
6. Oversee training of new employees in proper performance of line tasks.
7. Complete production reports and payroll responsibilities as required.
8. Through leadership, training and effective role modeling, personally ensure that all team members understand and use the Employee Handbook and follow all policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications
* Degree in related field, lead experience, and/or equivalent work experience

At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for this role is between $59,025 - $82,625 per year, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
