RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage, recommend, and lead integrated technology projects within the Transportation, Warehouse, Logistics Procurement, and Freight Payables departments.
- Collaborate with IT on driving automation in logistics and driving costs out of the system through technology.
- Develop training documents while also documenting processes related to technology within the logistics area.
- Develop reporting tools to help drive efficiencies within the logistics area.
- Some weekend and afterhours work may be required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of transportation, warehouse, and procurement experience using multiple technology platforms.
- Proven record of delivering results with technology project experience.
- Proven record of automating processes through technology in the transportation, warehouse, and procurement areas of responsibility.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel (experience navigating through and creating spreadsheets with formulas and pivot tables).
- Solid multi-tasking, organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills.
- Detail focused, highly developed, and demonstrated organizational ability.
- Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
- Applicants must not now, or in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa
Preferred
- 8 years of Transportation, Warehouse and Procurement Experience using multiple technology platforms.
- Bachelor’s Degree
