Horizonte Design Studio is a high-end residential interior design firm based in Las Vegas. We are seeking an organized, energetic Design Assistant who is excited to learn, grow, and support our team in a fast-paced design environment.
Role mission
Support the lead designers by helping keep presentations, materials, schedules, and day-to-day project logistics organized so each project moves efficiently and clients receive a polished experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick up samples, run local errands, and assist with procurement-related tasks.
- Prepare meeting spaces and organize materials for client presentations.
- Assist with presentation development, including inspiration imagery, room setup, and visual organization.
- Take notes during meetings and track follow-up items.
- Help manage calendars by scheduling consultations and appointments for the lead designers.
- Support material selections and coordinate with drafting/design team members.
- Assist with site visits and take field dimensions as needed.
- Maintain organized digital files in Google Drive and help keep project information up to date.
Qualifications:
- Must be based in the Las Vegas area.
- Must have a reliable car and valid driver’s license.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design preferred.
- 0–2 years of experience in interior design or a related support role.
- Familiarity with SketchUp for basic 3D modeling/visualization.
- Proficiency with Google Drive, Sheets, Slides, and other cloud-based tools.
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organization and follow-through.
- Comfort with fast-changing priorities.
- Polished communication.
- Ability to handle confidential client information.
Additional Details:
- Part-time schedule, with hours varying based on project needs.
- Occasional local travel for errands, sample pickups, and site visits required.
- Mileage reimbursement provided for approved business-related driving.
