Responsibilities
- Provide functional support for Deltek CostPoint and related Time & Expense processes.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues in the Deltek ERP ecosystem.
- Work with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to improve system usage and streamline business workflows.
- Support the configuration, testing, and adoption of system updates, patches, and new functionality.
- Identify opportunities to enhance capabilities and improve operational efficiency.
- Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure solutions align with operational needs.
- Create documentation and deliver training that helps end users work more effectively.
- Help ensure system practices remain aligned with internal controls, governance standards, and federal compliance requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 7 years of functional experience supporting Deltek CostPoint ERP.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and business processes.
- Experience working in a professional services environment.
- Ability to analyze issues, troubleshoot problems, and deliver practical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical groups.
- Comfort working in a collaborative environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Knowledge of compliance expectations and controls relevant to federal engagements.
- Prior experience supporting federal projects or engagements.
- Familiarity with additional Deltek modules and reporting tools.
- Experience helping drive process improvements and system optimization.
- Background in training users and developing clear process documentation.
- Ability to balance business needs with system and compliance requirements.
