Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze user requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
- Participate in the design, build, and testing phases of Epic software upgrades and enhancements.
- Serve as a mentor and subject matter expert to team members, providing guidance and support.
- Act as a liaison between various stakeholders, including Operations and IT, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of workflows and technical issues related to Epic software.
- Develop and maintain training materials for end-users to enhance software functionality understanding.
- Support application incidents and ensure timely resolution of issues during go-lives and system upgrades.
- Active certification in Epic Resolute Hospital Billing and/or Professional Billing.
- 5 years of experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in billing and revenue cycle management.
- Strong understanding of healthcare domain knowledge, including payment posting and denial management.
- Proficiency in analyzing revenue cycle metrics and process improvement techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across teams.
- Experience with Epic Patient Estimates Badge or similar qualifications.
- Knowledge of Epic Home Health Billing and Charge Router.
- Demonstrated ability in team management and cross-team communication.
- Familiarity with MS Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint for project management.
