Responsibilities
- Collaborate with technology, infrastructure, and application teams to review and enhance disaster recovery plans.
- Validate recovery strategies, including recovery time objectives and recovery point objectives.
- Identify gaps in recovery readiness and propose actionable improvements.
- Support the design and execution of disaster recovery testing, including simulations and failover exercises.
- Assess the effectiveness of recovery procedures and recommend practical enhancements.
- Ensure disaster recovery plans align with critical business services and operational priorities.
- Synthesize findings into clear recommendations and track progress on remediation efforts.
- 9-10 years of experience in disaster recovery, IT resilience, or technology risk.
- Hands-on experience in developing and validating disaster recovery plans.
- Strong understanding of recovery concepts and the ability to work effectively with technical teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Experience in financial services or regulated industries.
- Familiarity with cyber recovery and ransomware scenarios.
- Knowledge of relevant frameworks such as NIST, FFIEC, and ISO 22301.
- Ability to translate technical recovery concepts into business impact.
